The brief
YMCA required a new pre-school nursery and community hall in Andover, with early years accommodation for 100 children, outdoor learning gardens and visitor parking.
Scope of works
- Design and build of the nursery and community facilities with PGP Architects.
- Construction using a structurally insulated panel (SIP) timber frame.
- Coordination of the design team, planning approvals and construction programme.
- External learning gardens and parking.
The outcome
The completed building provides dedicated early years and community accommodation in Andover. This project is distinct from the YMCA clubhouse and accommodation commissions.
